Slivno is a seaside municipality situated in the south of the Neretva Valley. It includes 18 settlements: Blace, Duba, Duboka, Klek, Komarna, Kremena, Lovorje, Lučina, Mihalj, Otok, Pižinovac, Podgradina, Raba, Slivno Ravno, Trn, Tuštevac, Vlaka and Zavala. The combination of carst landscape and the sea is ideal for tourism and agriculture, that is why this small area boasts many wine hills and olive trees, as well as gorgeous beaches and untouched nature. Slivno municipality streches over 22 km of coastline between the mouth of the river Mala Neretva and the bay of Moračna. The 2011 census counted 1999 inhabitants. It also contains many archaeological finds of ancient towns and settlements, forts and towers and places of worship. Along with agriculture, the population engages in tourism, offering accommodation in many private houses and apartments for rent in the picturesque beach resorts.
