Općina Zažablje
The municipality of Zažablje spreads over 40 km2 and has a population of 738, engaging mainly in agriculture and tourism. It includes the villages Badžula, Bijeli Vir, Dobranje, Mislina, Mlinište and Vidonje, all surrounded by the mountain range Žaba with its highest peak, Marin vijenac, at 507m. There is also lake Kuti whose lush flora and fauna can be observed during a photo-safari. Other interesting features of the area include caves, prehistoric mounds and Illyrian ruins, as well as Medieval tombstones “stećci“ from the 14th and 15th century.
